When You Wish Events is the proud provider of the finest character entertainment in the Pacific Northwest since 2017. Based in both Bellingham, WA and Salem, OR, our greatest passion is making wishes come true for all ages and creating the most magical experience possible! Our events are always filled with great fun and enchanting performances that will make guests feel like their favorite character has stepped right out of a storybook. Our Princess performers are all skilled singers, some of whom even have degrees in Vocal and Theater Performance. We so enjoy creating musical magic for your event. Each of our costumes are custom made for our performers, bringing each character to life in exquisite detail from Rapunzel’s magical golden locks to the Ice Queen’s stunning holographic ice dress.
We provide nothing less than professional, mature and knowledgeable performers and we offer a variety of event packages that can be found on our Book A Character page. In addition to our live party packages, we also offer magical virtual visits and custom videos to deliver the magic straight to your home. Some examples of events we attend include children’s parties, teas, community events, festivals, weddings, charity events, meet-and-greets, corporate parties and even special drop in visits.
In addition to custom parties, we also host our own grand events yearly. Our most popular is the annual Bibbidi Bobbidi Ball which features our entire cast for an evening of magnificent vocal performances, dazzling dancing, delicious desserts and irreplaceable memories.

April Miller
Owner
Holding a Bachelors in Classical Voice, April was originally pursuing a career in opera when she discovered her true passion and combined her love of music, performance, event planning and children into one dream business! She has been Princessing for 6 years and performing for as long as she can remember. Besides devoting her time to running WYW daily, she adores being a mother to her baby girl June, vintage fashion, history, traveling and theater. Her favorite Princesses are Snow White and Cinderella! She has performed in the Oregon Bach Festival, Pacific Northwest Opera and Eugene Opera.
Chauncey Trask
Manager
Creating magical moments for audiences is Chauncey's biggest passion in life. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre Performance, she began singing at a young age and her career has since taken her around the world, performing on stage and screen both in NYC as well as Europe and Asia. She has 8 years of experience as a Princess Performer. Chauncey loves reading, backpacking internationally, and volunteering with animals and children. Her favorite Princesses are Ariel, Cinderella, and Elsa.
Sarah Bodenshot
Manager
Originally from California, Sarah is an accomplished Princess performer with 9 years of experience. She is a preschool teacher and is knowledgeable in Sign Language. She has 2 golden retrievers she loves dearly and her other hobbies are reading, anything crafty and DIY projects. Her favorite Princesses are Rapunzel for her creative and fun spirit and Aurora for her grace and kindness.
